PAUL R. BAZEMORE, Jr. Biography
Paul is known as “Randy” Bazemore and is a native of Beaufort, SC and retired Navy Captain and Navy Pilot. He is a Clemson University graduate of 1970 with a BS degree in Industrial Management. He is married to his beautiful wife, Wanda H. Bazemore, and they have 4 children and 5 grandkids.
Randy started his career in real estate in 1995 with Century 21 Richard Berry & Associates in Harvey, LA. as a Sales Associate while in the Navy on active duty in New Orleans. His position in the Navy at that time was as Director of Operations for the Naval Reserve Recruiting Command. Randy retired from the Navy in 1997 and assumed the duties of Manager, Prudential Beaufort Realty in Beaufort, SC. He became a real estate Broker Associate in March 1998. In March of 2002, he created Paul Bazemore Realty & Associates, LLC. In 2011, Randy joined ERA Tides Realty ln James Island in Charleston, SC. In 2012, he switched to William Means Real Estate in downtown Charleston. In 2015, he joined Century 21 Properties Plus in West Ashley, Charleston, SC.
In 2020, Randy reopened Paul Bazemore Realty & Associates, LLC in an office located across from the Plantation at Stono Ferry in Hollywood, SC at 4832 Hwy 162, Unit B, Hollywood, SC 29449.
Randy has sold both residential and commercial properties but has decided to focus mainly on residential at present. He has sold many waterfront properties during his career and is very familiar with navigating the complexities involved with those sales. Growing up on the water in Beaufort, SC, Randy even used to be a commercial crabber while a teenager and frequented numerous fish camps on various barrier islands in Beaufort County.
For those interested in this career as a Navy Pilot, Randy accumulated over 2300 hours, with over 2200 in jets, including the T2A, T2C, TF- 9J, TA-4J, A6-E, and KA-6D aircraft. He was the top carrier aviator aboard the USS Saratoga in 1976, based on landing grades and #8 out of all carrier pilots aboard in 1977. He has 299 carrier landings, with 99 at night.
For those interested in this sales/business experience, Randy owned Maaco Auto Painting & Bodyworks in Savannah, GA from 1978-1984, was Director of Sales Training for American TV & appliance in 1985 and was nominated for National Recruiter of the Year for the Naval Reserve Recruiting Command in 1990. As a Naval Reserve Recruiter, he earned 25 Gold Wreaths and was one of the few Naval Reserve Recruiters promoted to 0-6.
Randy has also published two children books, “The Legend of the Putter Frog of Frogmore, SC” and “The Putter Frog Plays the British Open.”
